Questions

Is SlotSheet really free?

Yes. There is no paid plan and nothing to unlock. There is no cap on sheets or sign-ups for normal use, only anti-spam limits (such as how many sheets one connection can create in an hour). A small number of ads pay for the hosting.

Does anyone need an account?

No. When you create a sheet you get a private organizer link. People who sign up just type their name.

What if I lose my organizer link?

It is saved in the browser you used, and you can email it to yourself when you create the sheet. We never collect your email address, so we cannot recover a lost link.

Can I keep names private?

Yes. Turn off "Show names to everyone" and only you will see who signed up. Others just see which spots are taken.

Can people change or cancel their sign-up?

Yes, from the same browser, or from any device using the private link they can copy after signing up. You can close sign-ups at any time to freeze the list.

Can I download or print the list?

Yes. Download a CSV file that opens in Excel or Google Sheets, or print a clean paper copy with empty lines for spots that are still open.

How long are sheets kept?

Sheets are deleted automatically 12 months after the last date on them, or 12 months after you create them if they have no dates. You can delete a sheet yourself at any time.
